One step can lead to a thousand.

But no step always leads to none.

Yes - looking back to my journey, it's those small moments that lead me to who I am today:

casual catchup with an ex-colleague > connected with a coach > introduced to the pathless path > connected with others on the journey > decided to quit my decade of fancy career in tech and go onto the unknown

Absolutely, Iora!

What matters most is that each step was guided by an inner voice - shaped by experience and forward movement.

The real work is learning to listen to that voice and trust where it leads.

This time I don't agree. At least it's not my experience. Because there are people who LOVE change, and I am one of them. Then change - the big kind - becomes the solution to everything. Every problem, every challenge. But in reality, it might not be the solution. Just a big change, leaving you the same person you were before. But that' s okay, as long as you enjoy that change ...

Absolutely, Anette - you’re right! And thank you for such an honest comment 😌💚

This kind of article isn’t meant to speak to everyone. People who love change (like you!) see it as a natural response to challenges. And that’s beautiful in its own way.

But for those who feel stuck - really stuck - big changes can feel out of reach. Their minds loop the same thoughts until they’re drained. That’s who this piece is for: people who tried, stumbled, and don’t know how to start again. For them, even the smallest shift matters.

As for me - I love big changes too! There’ve been a few major ones in my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for them. Those choices shaped who I am, and I’m proud of them.

Sometimes just keeping your head above water is the win, especially as difficult as things are today. I really like this article and I am pushing to make some big changes especially in my daily life. I want to spend the balance living in other countries before I leave this earth.

Good article!
